Nutrition Philosophy

We’re all different and from a nutritional standpoint, this difference is called biochemical individuality.  It implies that no single diet is right for everyone.  For example, one person may do well on a more traditional higher carbohydrate diet, another may thrive on Zone type meals which are heavier in protein and fat, and a third will feel energized and clear headed following a raw foods diet... So my goal isn’t to impose a belief system or have you follow a specific Diet; rather, my goal is to teach you the fundamentals of Good, Healthy, Whole Foods Nutrition, so that your understanding helps you make the right choices each day. To help determine what type of foods may work best for you, I use a questionnaire based on what is called Metabolic Typing. Metabolic Typing is a science that helps identify which foods and food combinations are right for your unique metabolism. By tending to your specific needs while applying the basic principles of Good Nutrition, you will maintain proper weight, feel energized, and improve your overall health and quality of life!




The Eating 4 Health Plan $200.00

□ Revise your diet, minimize cravings, lose weight, have more energy, and simply feel better with the Eating 4 Health Plan.


□ This is a great way to get started!  The Eating 4 Health Plan will give you the basic tools needed to make better food choices.  You will learn, based on your metabolic 'tendency', which foods and food combination work best to give you sustained energy throughout the day. Why good fats are essential to good health and weight loss. Why some carbs are better than others. How to curb cravings. How supplementation can maximize your efforts. And much more…


□ During our first meeting, we will talk about your health, fitness, diet history, specific goals, and challenges regarding food and nutrition. This is a time for me to gather the information I need in order to put together the plan that will best serve you. You may also chose to do a body fat measurement at this time. This meeting usually takes a little over an hour.


□ About a week later, we meet again so that I can present you with your nutritional plan.  We will go over the wellness assessment and metabolic type guidelines, new menu template, snack options, supplement recommendation, exercise guidelines, nutrition journal, and any other specific issue we have chosen to address with this plan. This meeting takes about an hour.


□ About a month later, we will meet to check in via phone or in person to address challenges, and assess progress. This meeting is about a half hour.




Follow Up $50.00 per hour

□ Stay focused on The Eating 4 Health plan with weekly or monthly check-ins.


□ This is the best way to stay accountable to your goals!  Here, we will answer questions, address challenges, assess progress, go over your food journal, and make adjustments to your plan as needed. I prefer that we meet in person but phone appointments can be arranged.


□ The time is charged in 15-minute increments.
